there was something great about turning on the french tv this morning and realise that every channel was showing cartoons...
spent some time today doing chores, and enjoyed the homely feeling it gave me !
we got in the car to check the surf this evening and the battery was dead.... we started stressing out that we were stuck and that we were going to spend all day tomorrow cycling around buying jump leads etc etc, until I suggested that perhaps there was just a bad connection with the battery..... popped the bonnet, et voila...I had successfully diagnosed the problem... so pretty happy, not only with myself but with the car for not being a lemon
