realisation, lucky me and it's ok that we love nature

hmmmm is it bad that we realised that we don't actually like cities whilst on a mini break in New York ? Maybe, for some people, but for me, it kinda feels like a nice revelation that sits pretty well with me

today we did a tour of Brooklyn, and looking out of the window watching other peoples' lives flash past I realised just how lucky I am to live where I live, to do what I do, and to have been born where I was born...

ha ha ha so we figured out that the part of cities we love most is the parks, and the reason why we love them is that, unlike in the crazy busy parts of the city surrounded by skyscrapers, we can actually see the sky
